With numbers down, alleged moans about pubs, and the coming of mud, I thought I'd try ye olde favourite The Fairlop Oak with a dry walk. So I'm going to do a green walk to Valentines Park, have a cuppa in the Pavilion Cafe by the lake, and return to Barkingside a slightly different way. Those preferring a shorter walk can get one of several buses back to the pub from the halfway stop, or from various other points…
