Laser cutting bacterial cellulose is used to create prototypes, patches, doilies, coasters, book covers, bookmarks or decorations. Bacterial cellulose is a co-product of the kombucha making process and can be used as a sustainable alternative to plastics, leathers or papers with very similar properties. We will sketch designs both by hand and digitally, as well as discuss tips and techniques so you can grow your own…
