About
Ban this perverted filth! Was the headline when David Cronenberg adapted J.G. Ballard's classic underground novel in 1996, and Westminster Council banned it from screening in central London, even though the film had been given an 18 cert from the BBFC. This is deeply unsettling psychological cinema, the story follows a group of people who's lives intersect as they find sexual arousal in car crashes.
