About
John Harrison was an inventor and clockmaker who designed the first marine chronometer. He lived in London, not far from Shoe Lane Library. To mark 250 years since he died, historian and guide Lester Hillman will lead this guided walk inspired by the man who solved the longitude. We'll meet at 12:50pm and begin the walk at 1pm. Meet and return to Shoe Lane Library.
