Perivale Library opened in 1938 on land gifted to the local authority by Sanderson, in response to the area's rapid growth from village to suburb during the 1930s. The library reopened as a community managed library under Perivale Community Hive in April 2021. The building offers step-free access and a disabled toilet.
About 4 in 10 of its events are free. It is 5 minutes' walk from Perivale tube station.
