The Vaudeville Theatre opened in 1870 on the Strand in the City of Westminster. The current building opened in 1926 following two previous rebuilds. The theatre retains rare early stage mechanisms including a thunder drum and lightning sheets, and has hosted productions including the musical SIX. Since 2003 it has been owned by Max Weitzenhoffer.
