The Clapham Grand opened on 26 November 1900 as the New Grand Theatre, founded by Dan Leno, a king of Music Hall. The Grade II listed building operated as a cinema from 1931 and as a bingo hall for sixteen years from the 1960s. It was restored and reopened in 1991 as a live music venue.
Most of its events fall on Saturdays and Sundays. Tickets are typically around £25. It is 2 minutes' walk from Clapham Junction Overground station.
