The Lyric Theatre is a West End theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue in the City of Westminster, located at W1D 7ES. It opened on 17 December 1888, designed by architect C J Phipps and financed by producer Henry Leslie. The theatre was built for operetta and remains the oldest surviving theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue.
