The Three Compasses has occupied its High Street location since Georgian times. In 1896, the proprietor rebuilt the pub on the existing site with accommodation, stables, a coach house and a forge to the rear. The pub screens live sports including Football, Rugby, Cricket and F1, and hosts local entertainment ranging from drag brunches and jazz orchestras to blues jams, local bands and DJs.
