Whitechapel Gallery is a public art gallery founded in 1901 in London's East End, located on the north side of Whitechapel High Street in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. The historic building incorporates the former Whitechapel Public Library and contains a fully equipped auditorium, specialist bookshop, café, and various study and studio spaces.
