Finborough Theatre, founded in 1980, is a fifty-seat theatre in West Brompton presenting plays and music theatre focused on thought-provoking text-based new writing. It rediscovers neglected works from the 19th and 20th centuries and never presents work that has had a full run in London during the last 25 years. The multi-award-winning theatre was the inaugural holder of the Leverhulme Bursary for Emerging Directors in partnership with the National Theatre Studio.
