Dr Johnson's House is a writer's house museum at 17 Gough Square, the former home of 18th-century English writer and lexicographer Samuel Johnson. The five-storey building contains a library of books, prints, oil paintings, porcelain, Georgian furniture and other Johnsoniana. Educational workshops are offered six days a week for all ages from preschool to U3A.
