Garrick's Temple to Shakespeare is a Grade I listed garden folly built in 1756 by actor David Garrick on the north bank of the River Thames at Hampton. Garrick constructed it to honour playwright William Shakespeare and originally used it to house his collection of Shakespearean relics and entertain guests. The temple came into public ownership in the 1930s after passing through successive owners.
