Flat Time House was the studio home of John Latham (1921-2006), one of the most significant British post-war artists. In 2003, Latham declared the house a living sculpture based on his theory of Flat Time. The gallery opened in 2008 and hosts exhibitions, events, alternative learning programmes, the John Latham archive, and an artist residency.
