About
Step inside the story of one of London’s most iconic buildings. This new exhibition uncovers the fascinating transformation of the Bank of England’s Threadneedle Street home. In 1925, the Bank of England began a massive rebuilding project. Its original building, designed by the architect John Soane, was admired across the city - but it was no longer fit for purpose.
