The Tankard was first established in 1825 beside the walls of the old Bethlem Hospital. The building was rebuilt in 1879 as a Victorian pub and reopened in 2017. It features a first-floor terrace and rooftop terrace, both overlooking the Imperial War Museum.
It is 6 minutes' walk from Lambeth North tube station.
